In hindsight, I am grateful for this because I was desperately afraid of what I was going to do with my life, and education helped me stall the inevitable. Returning to graduate studies now in my thirties has given me a greater appreciation for the work this program demands and provided me with the time and perspective to truly ponder what I want.
